El Aeropuerto Internacional Las Américas (IATA: SDQ, OACI: MDSD) es un aeropuerto internacional situado en Punta Caucedo, cerca de Santo Domingo y Boca Chica, en la República Dominicana. El aeropuerto está gestionado por Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI (AERODOM), una empresa privada con sede en la República Dominicana, en virtud de una concesión de 25 años para construir, operar y transferir (BOT) seis aeropuertos del país. Las Américas suele recibir una gran variedad de aviones de largo, medio y corto recorrido. El otro aeropuerto de Santo Domingo, La Isabela, es mucho más pequeño y sólo lo utilizan aviones ligeros.
El aeropuerto es el segundo más concurrido del país, después del Aeropuerto Internacional de Punta Cana, y uno de los más grandes del Caribe, con 3,5 millones de pasajeros en 2015[1]. También es el centro de carga más activo del Caribe y Centroamérica, con 355.000.000 de libras de carga transportadas en 2019.

In 1955, General Trujillo officially ordered the construction of a new airport located on the Punta Caucedo peninsula, several kilometers east of the city. The construction of the current terminal began in 1956 and it was put into service in 1958, being officially inaugurated on November 10, 1959.
By Decree 5311 of 1959, the terminal was named “Punta Caucedo International Airport”; 10 days later, the name was changed to “General Trujillo International Airport”, in honor of the Generalissimo.
On November 25, 1961, after the death of the Benefactor of the Nation, the airport returned to its original name. Pan American World Airways was the first international airline to establish regular flights to Santo Domingo.
